Hello there lovely readers! I finally have the time to show you my gorgeous Birthday dress, hurray! I really am so happy with how it turned out, I can honestly say I have never been complimented as much as when I was wearing this dress :) But without further ado, here it is in all it's glory!

Now I must admit that before I wore this dress out I was a little worried that it would look a bit dowdy, but as soon as I put it on I knew that all was well :) I really love everything about it, the colour, the shape, the style, I couldn't have asked for a better result! It's everything you could want in a Birthday outfit and more in my opinion :)
Please excuse the slightly dopey expression in the above picture, I think I may have been slightly overwhelmed by the cuteness of my outfit! Hee hee!

Now my Birthday actually ends up being a bit of a double celebration as my Sweetheart's Birthday falls just two days after mine, so I thought it would be a bit unfair if I didn't share a shot of him in all his Birthday finery (and the bow tie that was my gift to him!). Plus I think he looks ridiculously handsome... :)

Oh my, this is BEAUUUUUUUUUTIFUL! No wonder you've been getting so many compliments on it. So so pretty and it suits you perfectly. What fabric is it? It looks nice and drapey - I find it quite difficult to find drapey fabric in pretty prints like that. Ooh yes and your boy does look very handsome! You make a great couple.
I love it!!!! I can't wait I just picked up some lovely 1930's patterns and have fantastic prints. I have to wait for hubby to get home, as sewing for me just seems to be impossible these days! You guys are so adorable!
